Christmas adds are often popular and every brand tends to put in great effort when it  comes to Christmas adds. Adds i love in particular  these examples.

Vodafone

I love the use of emotion used by Vodafone through this add.Even though it does not sell/advertise their brand directly you can see the connection of bringing people together though communication.

The video is full of warmth and emotion felt by many during the holiday season when they wish for their loved ones to be there.It shows a delicate and loving side to the brand and gives us a caring view of the brand.

They also used the “awh factor” with a young girl missing an older sibling AT Christmas time  .Who doesn’t love this add!

Brands that ACE it on Twitter.


Although Facebook is currently still popular it seems Twitter may be taking the spotlight in the Media World recently. Most Brands have noticed they need to take advantage of  Twitter as a social media platform,if they wish to keep  their social media marketing up to date.It is a great sign to see brands tweeting and succeeding on Twitter. I believe three individuals who sell themselves and their brands well  on twitter include ..

  1. Conor McGregor
  2. Kim Kardashian

Conor McGregor the legendary UFC champion fighter , Uses his Twitter account to boost hes following,for endorsement of products (his own and others )and overall highlighting his beloved Sport.

Firstly Conor McGregor’s Twitter page is Verified. cm3                        which Allows him to be identified easily as the true Conor McGregor.                                 His Profile Picture shows him holding his champion belts in the ring which attracts hes UFC supports and also allowing users to again identify him quickly. He has contrasted his profile with hes Cover Photo showing him in a more stylish and calm manner ,showing him in a suit and sunglasses ,with a speaker at the right of the photo  indicating his importance in the UFC and sporting world.
  2. He has attained many followers.As you can see above he has over 2.6million followers on twitter so i assume Alot of people find him intersting and entertaining on twitter. He has tweeted alot and tweets often ,These including pictures,videos and links.These makes him intersting and followers like to see his views and social life.

Kim Kardashian markets her beauty and fashion line “Kimkwest.com”,her lifestyle App and her Kardashian game “Kim Kardashian hollywood”.She uses Twitter along with many social platforms to market her products and brands.

  1. Kim Kardashian’s Twitter account is verified ,she has an incredible following and has made an enormous amount of tweets. she posts a huge variety of  information,also including videos,pictures and links.
  2. she relates many of her tweets with her own social life. ie.For example she binds her products with her own social life in the post below.she informs her followers event she is attending and suggests they join her on her “Kim Kardashian Hollwood game.”,with the knowledge that many App users will ,and in hope it will attract more followers to download her App.

1. Insure your Profile Picture is attractive and represents your Brand.

  •  You should always insure your business has a attractive profile picture and represents your brand. Including your logo may be a good idea,To ensure Facebook users can recognize your brand and page easily at a glance.
  • You should use positive and bright colors associated with your brand for easy brand recognition.
  • Be sure that your Profile Picture fits properly and crop /edit to get the correct size.Also ensure it is not blurry.
  • Try to make your profile picture as unique, humors and interesting as possible.
  • If your profile picture includes words make sure they are easily read,un-blurry and spelt correctly.

    Many Business’s brand image is unrecognizable from their profile picture on Facebook. You should always try to get your brand across in your profile picture so Facebook users can easily recognize what your brand or service is.

  • Your Facebook “About” Section should also be filled in.
  • It should include a brief description of your business and what you offer or sell.
  • Your business contact details should be correct, including your Telephone number, Email address and a managers name.

  • You should add the location of your business/businesses, and add a link to Google Maps if possible. And pin your location . This will make it easy for users to find your business.
  • Include your opening hours and days you intend to be closed.

  • Posting pictures and videos boost you views.You can try be humors  to get more attentions but ensure it is appropriate to your audience.
  • You should Post pictures of your product / service to share what you sell or offer with users.You could also have competitions through Facebook to boost your views and likes.
  • You should avoid over posting (especially about yourself) or repeat posting the same things as it may annoy users.
